This home had a high maintenance, small, declining, old wood deck witch was was not large enough to be useful.
Our client was surrounded by neighbors with a street adjacent to the backyard and wanted a larger entertaining area that was lower to the ground so they would not feel they where in a fish bowl on a stage, in plain view of all the neighbors. Structural height was established by installing a custom built wood pergola covering the dinning area of the elevated patio.
A custom, built-in gourmet grill was installed to provide a cooking area without taking up usable square footage space from the patio. The result is a beautiful, low maintenance, elegant dining area with new steps, a custom pergola, arbor and grill, with walkway access.
